Purchases & Payments
How do I make a purchase on the website?
Purchasing Freedology products through our website is simple:
1. Go to Courses and select the product you would like to purchase.
2. Click on the product to view more information about its content, price and other details.
3. Click Add to cart to add the product to your shopping cart.
4. Click the shopping cart icon (Cart) in the top-right corner to review your order. You can also enter a discount code there, if applicable.
5. Click Checkout to proceed to payment.
6. If you are a new customer, create an account by entering the requested information. If you already have an account, log in.
7. Check that your personal and billing details are correct before completing your purchase. If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, you should also provide the company name, VAT number and any reference or purchase order number (PO number) required on the receipt or invoice.
8. Enter your card details, read and accept our Terms & Conditions, then click Buy to complete your purchase.
If you purchase a product that is available for payment by card, you will receive access as soon as the payment has been completed and the purchase has been registered.
What payment methods are available?
We also offer payment by invoice. However, our business is designed around a digital and automated purchasing process, so invoice payments require manual administration and are therefore offered as an additional service.
For smaller orders, an administrative invoicing fee of 2,000 SEK excluding VAT applies.
For larger corporate orders, the invoicing fee may be partially or fully waived by agreement.
How long do I have access to the course?
If you purchase a product directly through the Freedology website by card, you will normally have access to it for 30 days from the date the purchase is registered.
Once you are logged in, you can find your products under My Profile & Courses, where you can also see when access to each product expires.
If you have been given access to a product through a company, organisation or school, the access period agreed between Freedology and the relevant organisation will apply. If you have any questions about your access, please contact your designated contact person at the company, organisation or school in the first instance.
Can I pause and continue later?
Yes, you can start whenever it suits you and continue at your own pace, provided you complete the product before your access period expires.
Freedology saves your progress, so you can continue from where you left off or choose to go back and review earlier sections.
The products are completed online and require an internet connection.
Do I get access to the course immediately after purchase?
If the purchase is made by a company, organisation or school by invoice, access is activated in accordance with the agreement between Freedology and the relevant organisation.
If you are covered by a company, organisation or school agreement and have questions about when you will receive access to the product, please contact your designated contact person in the first instance. For security and privacy reasons, Freedology only provides information about the agreement to the contact persons specified in the agreement.
Can I pay by invoice?
Orders paid by invoice are subject to an administrative invoicing fee of 2,000 SEK excluding VAT.
Different terms may be offered for larger corporate orders by agreement.
If you would like to purchase by invoice, contact Freedology using the contact form on the For Organisations page before completing your purchase. State which courses or products your enquiry concerns and approximately how many participants the purchase will cover.
How does the right of withdrawal work?
If you are a consumer within the EU, you are normally entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Special rules apply to digital courses, however. When you complete your purchase, you request that delivery of the digital service begin immediately. Once you have been given access to or have started the course, your statutory right of withdrawal may therefore cease to apply in whole or in part, in accordance with applicable law and our Terms & Conditions.
For customers outside the EU, our Terms & Conditions apply together with any applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation in the customer’s country of residence.
In the event of any discrepancy between this summary and our Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions will always prevail.
Can I extend my access to my course product?
Freedology assesses each request individually.
Extended access is granted only if Freedology determines that there are grounds for doing so and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Can I buy a product for someone else or give it as a gift?
If you would like to purchase a product for another person, please contact us by email or through the contact form. We will be happy to see whether we can find a solution that meets your requirements.
Will I receive a receipt or an invoice?
When you are logged in, you can also view your purchase history at any time and download previous receipts and invoices via Me → Account → Payment History.
We recommend that you download and save the receipt or invoice for your own records.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, it is important to check that the company name, company registration number/VAT number, reference and other billing details are correct before completing the purchase.
If you need to update your billing details for future purchases, you can do so under Me → Account → Billing details.
As a general rule, Freedology does not make changes to receipts or invoices that have already been issued. If a change needs to be made at the customer’s request, an administrative fee of up to 500 SEK including VAT may be charged. Changes required under applicable law will, of course, be handled without undue delay.
Can I change the details on my receipt or invoice after it has been issued?
When you are logged in, you can update your billing details under Me → Account → Billing details. The change will apply only to future purchases and will not affect receipts or invoices that have already been issued.
As a general rule, Freedology does not make changes to receipts or invoices that have already been issued. Can I purchase products from outside Sweden?
I cannot complete my purchase by card. What could be wrong?
There may be several reasons why your card payment is not going through.
Please check the following:
· That your card details have been entered correctly.
· That the card is valid and has not expired.
· That there are sufficient funds or available credit on the card.
· That your bank has approved the purchase. Some banks require verification via BankID or another security solution.
· That the card is enabled for online or international purchases.
If the problem persists, please contact us by email and describe the issue. If possible, include the error message you receive, the browser you are using and the country you are trying to purchase from. This will help us troubleshoot the issue more quickly.
Why are multiple prices displayed when I add a product to my cart?
The purpose is to make it easy for you to see whether you can access more products at a better overall price. You choose which option you would like to purchase.
Any package prices and discounts apply only if the package is purchased as part of the same order. If you choose to purchase an individual product and later wish to upgrade to a package, as a general rule no price adjustment or refund of the difference will be made.
We therefore recommend that you compare the options before completing your purchase.
Why do I need to enter both User details and Billing details when making a purchase?
Billing details are used for payment and to create a receipt or invoice with the correct billing information.
In many cases, the information may be the same, but the fields are kept separate because the account holder and the person or organisation named on the receipt or invoice are not always the same.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a company, it is important to check that the company name, VAT registration number and any reference or purchase order number (PO number) are entered correctly before completing the purchase.
Where can I find my shopping cart (Cart)?
First add a product to the shopping cart by clicking Add to cart on the product page. The shopping cart icon (Cart) will then appear at the top of the page, where you can review and complete your order.
Our Course Offering
What is a course?
A course is an interactive digital learning experience designed to provide a clear structure and guide you through the content step by step using narration.
The narration uses clear language and carefully chosen wording to make the content easy to follow and understand, regardless of your previous experience. Some courses also use multiple voices in dialogues and scenario-based examples to illustrate realistic situations.
Depending on the subject and purpose, our courses may include, to varying degrees:
· narration
· videos and animations
· interactive elements
· exercises and reflection questions
· case studies, dialogues and scenario-based examples
· downloadable materials.
On each course page, you will find information including:
· language
· level (e.g. basic, advanced)
· recommended time
· minimum time required
· whether prior knowledge is required
· how long you have access to the course
· time and place of completion (usually flexible)
· whether the course includes an examination
· type of Proof of Completion
· any downloadable materials.
All courses provide a Proof of Completion.
Courses that include an examination provide a Certificate after a passing result. Other courses provide a Record of Completion once the course has been completed.
For information about how the course player works, see "How does the course player work?" under Account, Login & Technical Questions.
What is a Collection?
A Collection usually contains several courses, but may also include supplementary materials such as worksheets, templates, guides, interviews, videos or other resources that enhance learning.
The content included is always specified on the relevant Collection page.
What is a Program?
A Program may contain the same types of products as a Collection, but is often supplemented with organisation-specific content such as internal templates, instructions, policy documents, videos from the organisation’s own operations or other materials tailored to the organisation’s needs.
Programs may also include digital workshops, shared activities and other elements that support onboarding, skills development or change initiatives.
The content, structure, sequence and delivery are designed together with the customer and may therefore vary between Programs.
Programs are available only to the organisation that purchases them and are not part of Freedology’s standard course offering.
How long do I have access to a course?
What does recommended time mean?
Recommended time is the amount of time most participants should set aside to get as much as possible from the course.
In addition to the course’s minimum time required, it also includes time to:
· complete exercises
· consider reflection questions
· read supplementary materials
· complete any examination
· review parts of the course if needed.
The recommended time is an estimate and may vary depending on your prior knowledge, study pace and how much time you choose to spend on exercises and reflection. If you are completely new to the subject, the course may take longer than the recommended time.
What does minimum time required mean?
The time is calculated based on the length of the narration and the time required to navigate between the different sections of the course and complete mandatory elements.
How do I choose the right course?
If you are unsure which course is the best fit, you are always welcome to contact us. We will be happy to help you find a solution that meets your needs or supports your organisation’s skills development.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
If a course requires specific prior knowledge, this is clearly stated on the product page. Many of our basic-level courses are designed to be completed without previous experience, while others are intended for participants with relevant professional experience or prior knowledge in the subject area.
We recommend that you always read the product description before completing your purchase.
Are the courses updated when laws or regulations change?
How and when a course is updated depends on factors such as the subject area, the scope of the change and the content of the course. Our aim is to provide relevant, well-maintained courses, but we cannot guarantee that every change will be identified or implemented immediately.
Are the courses fully digital?
You choose when and where you would like to complete the course, provided you have a stable internet connection and complete it within the access period applicable to the product.
For some organisation-specific Programs, the course may be supplemented with digital workshops or other content tailored to the organisation.
Can I contact you before purchasing a course?
If you have questions about our courses or are unsure which product is the best fit, you are welcome to contact us before completing your purchase.
For companies and organisations, we are also happy to discuss skills requirements, group training and organisation-specific solutions.
What languages are the courses available in?
The language and any subtitles are always shown directly on the relevant product card in the catalogue, for example on the course cards under Courses & Collections, as well as on the product’s own page.
On the product cards, the language and subtitles are displayed in English to make the information clear to both Swedish and international visitors. Examples:
Swedish • Swedish subtitles
Swedish • English subtitles
English • English subtitles
English • Swedish subtitles
If a product is available in several languages, each language version is normally published as a separate product.
Subtitles may be referred to in different ways depending on the platform, provider or software. Common terms include subtitles, closed captions, captions and CC.
All of these terms describe text displayed on screen that represents the spoken content in the product. Subtitles can make the content easier to follow, support people with hearing impairments and help those who prefer to read while listening to the narration.
How do you quality-assure the course content?
The quality-assurance process is adapted to the subject area of the course. It may include fact-checking, verification of sources and references, language review, pedagogical review and technical testing of the course. This applies whether the content has been created by people, with the assistance of AI or using other production tools.
The content is quality-assured by people with relevant expertise and experience in the respective field. Where necessary, we also work with external subject-matter experts and specialists to review or contribute to parts of the course content.
If you identify an error or have a suggestion for improvement, you are very welcome to contact us. See the question "Can I report an error in a course?" under Materials, AI & Copyright.
Can I download materials from the website or products?
For more information, see Materials, AI & Copyright ©.
Where do the images in the courses come from?
Are the courses created using AI?
AI is used as one of several production tools when we develop our courses. All content is reviewed and quality-assured by people before it is published.
For more information, see Materials, AI & Copyright ©.
Proof of Completion & Examinations
What is a Record of Completion?
A Record of Completion is a Proof of Completion showing that you have:
· completed a course in full
· completed all mandatory parts of the course
· completed a course that does not include an examination.
The Record of Completion confirms that the course has been completed but does not include an assessment of your level of knowledge.
What is a Certificate?
A Certificate is a Proof of Completion showing that you have:
· completed a course in full
· completed all mandatory parts of the course
· achieved a passing result in the course examination.
Unless otherwise stated, a score of at least 80% is normally required to pass. Some courses also include so-called critical questions, which must be answered correctly for the examination to be passed.
The Certificate therefore confirms both that the course has been completed and that the participant has met the course’s examination requirements for a passing result.
How do I download or print my Record of Completion or Certificate?
Can I download my Record of Completion or Certificate more than once?
Can I add my Record of Completion or Certificate to LinkedIn?
Yes, once your Proof of Completion has been issued, you can:
· download it as a PDF.
· add it under Licenses & Certifications on your LinkedIn profile by clicking the LinkedIn button.
· if you would like to display the actual Proof of Completion on your LinkedIn profile, upload the PDF file under Media.
All Proofs of Completion also include a unique certificate ID that is used for verification.
Can I verify my Record of Completion or Certificate?
Can I receive a Record of Completion or Certificate for an entire Collection or Program?
For organisation-specific solutions, we can, by agreement, create a Proof of Completion for an entire Collection, Program or other skills development initiative.
Can we add a knowledge test or examination to a course that does not include one?
For companies, organisations and training providers, however, we can offer knowledge tests, examinations or other forms of knowledge assessment as an optional addition. These can be adapted to the course content and the organisation’s needs. If you would like to know more about the available options, please contact us.
Companies & Organisations
Can companies pay by invoice?
Can you help us identify which courses our employees need?
Depending on the scope of the assignment, we can also help carry out simpler assessments, questionnaires or other forms of skills and gap analysis to identify development areas and provide a basis for a more targeted training initiative.
We can also create organisation-specific solutions and Programs that combine several courses or are supplemented with organisation-specific content.
I want to purchase for many participants. How do group purchases work?

This may include, for example:
· custom introductory materials
· internal documents and templates
· company-specific videos
· customised case studies and scenario-based examples
· organisation-specific Programs
The available customisation options depend on the scope of the course, our available resources and your requirements.
The scope, content, timeline and price are therefore always agreed in consultation with the customer.
Can we use our own documents and training materials?
Which materials can be used depends on factors including the content, format, copyright and how the course is structured. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the available options based on your needs.
Can you help us develop entirely new courses?
Courses can be developed from the ground up or combined with existing materials and adapted to the target audience, organisation and desired learning outcomes. The scope, content, timeline and price are always agreed in consultation with the customer.

Programs can be adapted to different target groups, roles and competence levels and may include, for example, introductory courses, internal documents, policies, procedures and other organisation-specific resources. The scope, content, timeline and price are always agreed in consultation with the customer.
How does the administrator get access?
Can we receive statistics?
We can also provide organisation-specific statistics and reports based on your needs. This may include integrating questionnaires or knowledge assessments that give the organisation an overall view of knowledge levels, understanding or other areas you would like to monitor.
Where appropriate, the results can be compiled and reported at group level to provide the organisation with valuable decision-making information, while taking account of participant privacy and applicable data protection requirements.
The statistics and reports available depend on the solution that has been agreed.

When the course access period expires, your access to the course ends. Your user account may, however, remain so that you can log in again if you purchase a new course or your organisation gives you access to additional courses. Do you meet accessibility requirements such as WCAG?
However, we have not carried out an independent review or verification to confirm that our courses comply with WCAG. You can read more under the question “How does the course player work?” in the Account, Login & Technical Questions category.
If you have specific accessibility needs, you are welcome to contact Freedology before purchasing a course. We can then assess together whether the course is suitable for your needs.
We also welcome feedback on how our courses could be made even more accessible. If you identify something that could be improved, we would appreciate hearing from you. We continuously work to develop and improve our courses.

Unauthorised use, such as sharing a user account, username or password, or other use that breaches our Terms & Conditions, may result in the account being suspended or terminated without a refund.
Freedology may also seek compensation for financial loss, costs and other losses arising from the breach and may take other action in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
Can I use the course without an internet connection?
Freedology courses are designed to be completed using an active and stable internet connection.
We do not recommend attempting to use the courses without an internet connection, as we cannot then guarantee that your progress, completed activities, results or tests will be recorded correctly. You should therefore complete the course on a computer with a stable internet connection.

We only send newsletters when we have something relevant to share, for example:
• New courses and programs
• Updates to existing courses
• Free materials
• Webinars and other events
• Offers and promotions
We do not have a fixed mailing frequency. Our aim is to send newsletters sparingly, normally no more than 1–2 times every six months, or in connection with major launches and other important news. We always aim to send only information that is relevant and valuable to our recipients. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.
For ongoing updates, we recommend following Freedology on social media. We share news, course tips and other content there more frequently than by email.

Materials, AI & Copyright ©
What is copyright and how do you work with it?
At Freedology, we place great importance on respecting copyright and other intellectual property rights. We actively work to ensure that all materials we use have been produced by us, are licensed, or are used with permission from the copyright holder.
We view copyright as more than a legal issue. Respecting the work of others is also about professionalism, trust and sustainable knowledge sharing.
Can I use materials from the course in my work?
Other content, such as courses, text, images, videos, illustrations and other materials, is protected by copyright and may not be copied, distributed or used except as expressly permitted under our Terms & Conditions, or with written permission from Freedology or the relevant rights holder.
How do you ensure that images, videos and other materials in your courses may be used?
The materials in our courses consist of a combination of content produced by us, AI-generated illustrations, photographs, licensed materials, and images and videos for which we have received explicit permission from the copyright holder to use the material.
When we use materials from companies, organisations or private individuals, we always do so with their approval.
We are happy to acknowledge contributors in our courses or on our website if they wish. At the same time, we respect that some prefer to remain anonymous.
Where do the images and illustrations come from?
We also use photographs and videos produced by us, licensed materials from image and video services, and materials that companies, organisations and other rights holders have given us permission to use.
Our aim is always to use materials that are as realistic and industry-relevant as possible. We therefore appreciate companies and organisations that are willing to contribute authentic images or videos from their operations.
If you or your organisation would like to contribute materials to future courses, you are very welcome to contact us at contact@freedology.com.
Do you use AI when developing your courses?
Human quality assurance
All course content is reviewed, refined and quality-assured before it is published. AI does not replace our subject-matter expertise, fact-checking or pedagogical judgement; it is used as a tool to create better, clearer and more educational courses.
Would you like to know more about how we quality-assure the content of our courses? See the question How do you quality-assure the course content? under Our Course Offering.
What sources do you use?
We also draw on our own professional experience and practical knowledge in areas where we have relevant expertise. Where necessary, we work with external subject-matter experts, consultants and other specialists to contribute knowledge, review parts of the course content or quality-assure specific areas. Our aim is always to use current, credible and relevant sources.
How do you reference external sources?
In some courses, sources are cited throughout, while others contain general source references or references to key legislation, public authorities, organisations or publications.
We document and retain the sources on which the course content is based as part of our quality-assurance process. However, for copyright and commercial reasons, a complete bibliography or all working references are not always published
Can I report a copyright issue?
Can I report an error in a course?
Despite our quality-assurance procedures, errors or outdated information may occur. If you identify something that could be improved or corrected, we would appreciate you contacting us. Please state which course is concerned and where in the course you identified the error or suggested improvement. We review all feedback and use it as an important part of our continuous improvement work. You can reach us at contact@freedology.com.
Do you acknowledge companies and organisations that contribute materials?
When our contributors wish to be acknowledged, we are happy to thank them in our courses or on our website. At the same time, we of course respect that some prefer not to be named.
If you or your organisation would like to contribute authentic images, videos or other materials to future courses, you are very welcome to contact us at contact@freedology.com.
